I have always loved exquisite and beautiful soaps since childhood, I have always adored the smell and the texture of premium quality soap. 
 

In 1995 I began my first forays into soapmaking. Initially producing beautiful soaps for myself, my friends and my family. The soaps were so well received that it was suggested that there would be an eager market for such lovely products. As a result I began to produce a more extensive range and Under Capricorn, original goat's milk soap was born.

I have now been running a successful business for just over 25 years, selling at artisan markets and countryside events as well as online. Whilst at our favourite artisan market in Ludlow (where we can be found several times a month) I was approached by a buyer from the National Trust headquarters and asked to produce a range of soaps for selected nation trust gift shops.

Today we have 34 soaps in our main range. We also undertake bespoke commissions for birthdays, anniversaries, wedding favours, and all other special occasions. (For inquiries, please see our contact details below)
